Kanye West, Maroon 5 to Play NFL Show

LOS ANGELES - The National Football League will kick off the season Sept. 8 with concerts in three cities featuring a look back at the history of the Super Bowl.
A free concert outside Los Angeles Coliseum, site of the first Super Bowl, will include Grammy winners Kanye West and Maroon 5. They will be joined by former Super Bowl MVP Marcus Allen and the University of Southern California marching band. - NFL Football -
The other concerts will be held at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass., home of the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots, and in Detroit, site of the next Super Bowl on Feb. 5. Green Day and Santana will perform in Foxboro, and Trisha Yearwood will sing the national anthem.
Portions of the concerts will air live on ABC's "NFL Opening Kickoff" special leading into the season opener between the Patriots and Oakland Raiders. - NFL Football -
The TV special will feature the first video footage of the Rolling Stones' tour, which plays Detroit on Aug. 31. - NFL Football -
