Former Clemson receiver Roscoe Crosby waits through NFL supplemental draft
(Columbia-) July 14, 2005 - Former Clemson receiver Roscoe Crosby is waiting to find out if he'll make the NFL's supplemental draft. - NFL Football -
The Union High school graduate played football at Clemson from 2001 to 2003 while under a Major League Baseball contract with the Kansas City Royals. Crosby had hoped to follow the paths of Bo Jackson and Deion Sanders by playing both sports, but injuries, indecision and personal issues distracted him. - NFL Football -
Crosby decided to focus his attention on the NFL earlier this year after he lost nearly half of his contract with the Royals. - NFL Football -
Crosby was a number 53-pick for the Royals in 2001 and had signed a $1.75 million dollar contract.
